I think yesterday’s post deserves an amendment because having only briefly skimmed all the plot synopsis/publisher descriptions when I requested a whole slew of books on Library Thing, my characterization of “A Monk Jumped Over A Wall” above is pretty simplistic, and well…wrong. After author, Jay Nussbaum, left a comment saying he hopes I enjoy his book, decided to look into the book a bit more, check out his website, etc. What I found out: I got it wrong. While this book may have elements of suspense or mystery, this is not a mystery book. I hesitate to say anything about what it is because I haven’t read it yet, but from what I’ve read about this and his other work “Blue Road to Atlantis,” it will be far more engaging than I had originally imagined. So, I would like to humbly apologize for being too hasty with my initial assessment of this book. If you have the time, click the author’s name in the comment section and check out his website, it is quite something (something good!).

Congrats on getting an Early Reviewer book. I’m new to LibraryThing and put my name in the hat, but didn’t get any this month. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for next month now.
